Social Research and Development (SRD)

SRD1The Social Research & Development Project is a not for private profit trading subsidiary of the Seedley and Langworthy Trust set up in 2004 as a result of the Trust’s track record in delivering Community Consultation projects and Community Research. Its aim is to provide support to the community and voluntary sector organisations in delivering Community Led Research and Development and quality training.Project Evaluation

  • Review & Evaluation of the Age Concern (Halton) newsletter, on behalf of Age Concern (March - 2007)
  • BME Study - halton BC ( July - 2006)
  • The Haulgh Community Partnership Research Project involving hard to reach groups, on behalf of the Haulgh Community Partnership (June - 2006)
  • Evaluation of the Seedley and Langworthy In-Bloom Community Project (March - 2006)
  • Advice / Consultancy support - Skills for Life Conference - Salford Lifelong Learning Partnership (February - 2006)
  • SRB5 Final Household Surveys in conjunction with Quaternion Research & Consultancy (January - 2006)
  • Central Salford Consultation survey work in the areas of Weaste, Seedley and Langworthy on behalf of Urban Regeneration Company and University of Salford (September - 2005)
  • Assessing provision for children and young people in Chesham Fold East Bury, commissioned by the Children’s Fund (May - 2005)
  • Surveying user and non user attitudes and  perceptions of the Langworthy Cornerstone Community Centre (January - 2005)
  • Community consultation regarding proposed traffic calming measures for Seedley and Langworthy, commissioned by Salford City Council(September - 2004)
  • Assessing community demand for the Langworthy Hotel (April - 2004)
  • Assessing community & agency perceptions of the Seedley & Langworthy Trust (2003)
